Fontana Interpretive Nature Center
Many recreation and learning opportunities at historic millsite (from 150 years ago). Includes lake and dam, fishing, campsites, picnicing, playgrounds, woodland trails, animal pens, museum exhibits and indoor and outdoor classes and activites. Backbone State Park and Backbone Lake
Picnicking, hiking, and swimming, three miles from Strawberry Point. Dedicated in 1920, it is Iowa's oldest state park.
